Morgan Johnson is particularly well-suited to his work with Elite Premier Properties, possessing a broad background in real estate that originated with his days as a loan officer for Wells Fargo Bank, where he first began acquiring his extensive knowledge of real estate finance. From there it was on to a position as Home Mortgage Consultant, staying with the Wells Fargo group but moving to their mortgage company, advising clients on ways to achieve their financial goals through real estate.
In 2004 Mr. Johnson accepted a position with Grupe Homes in Stockton, California where he was lead sales agent, closing over $100,000,000 worth of residential property in under five years. While with Grupe, he acquired critical skills in sales and marketing strategies and developed workable, highly-profitable selling systems. In time, his growing involvement with the company led to more of a sales management role where he ultimately became Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Grupe’s Green Home Solutions, a period in which he also served as Energy and Environment Committee Chair for the Sierra Foothills Chapter of Organizing for America, and became an active member of the National Sales and Marketing Committee for Efficiency First.
Mr. Johnson went on to acquire his real estate broker’s license and, soon after, created Walker Sefstrom, his real estate company, where he became skilled in the negotiation of loan modifications and short sale transactions. Mr. Johnson was also able to access government stimulus monies for housing rehabilitation, creating unique investment opportunities for his clients. The experience gained from the operation of Walker Sefstrom has allowed Mr. Johnson to acquire a broad understanding of REO properties as well as other resale transactions.
In 2008, he took on the position of Consultant with Sunpower Corporation, a solar technology firm where he was responsible for developing numerous real estate training programs, each of which gained the approval of the Departments of Real Estate in the states of California, Nevada, and Colorado.
Currently, Mr. Johnson’s wide-ranging responsibilities with Elite Premier Properties include opening real estate offices, recruiting, property valuation, and expanding Elite’s real estate sales volume. Mr. Johnson’s overall professional experience has made him uniquely qualified in the art of developing successful training and strategic marketing programs, as well as profitable platforms for the general selling process. He is an accomplished speaker, strategist, and negotiator.
An active member of the community, Mr. Johnson sits on the board of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Sacramento. He is a Realtor, Short Sales and Foreclosure (SFR) Certified and a NABPOP Certified Property Valuator. Mr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from California State University – Sacramento.
